Amy and Trevor didn’t want the full traditional wedding, and chose to celebrate their love instead with only their family and a handful of friends.  The day from start to finish was full of belly laughs, tears and a LOT of hugs!  Amy is Australian, and the couple both live out there now, so Trevor’s family was only thrilled when they picked Castle Durrow for their wedding.  Good food and great company was all these two wanted.  They decided to opt for a ‘first look’ before the ceremony to calm their nerves, and it also meant that they got to spend their entire drinks reception catching up with their loved ones.  Once they’d had their fill of scrummy canapes and glasses of bubbly, they had their first dance as husband and wife, with the castle as their backdrop, and a boombox on the ground as their DJ!  Their friends and family quickly joined in, with raucous laughter all around.  Before they headed in for dinner, they decided to have their speeches on the steps in front of the castle so they could enjoy the last of the sunshine. If Carlsberg did weddings, they’d look very much like this!  Thankyou both for having us!  xxx
