We had a fabulous day with Claire and Kevin at their Rathsallagh House wedding. These primary school teachers were living in Thailand, and had their students help design sweet and bespoke save the date cards. Claire is a Dublin girl, who met and fell in love with her English groom when she was teaching in North London. Kevin has actually spent a lifetime of summers in Cork with his Irish grandparents, so they felt that having their wedding in Ireland made perfect sense. They chose the beautiful venue Rathsallagh House in Wicklow to celebrate their summer wedding. Claire’s dress was an incredible jewelled creation by my new favourite Australian wedding dress designer Anna Campbell – sooooo pretty! Claire and Kevin had visited Rathsallagh House early in the week of their wedding, and the front fields were filled with golden hay bales, which they were really excited about. However, when Dan and I arrived the day beforehand for our usual scout, there wasn’t a hay bale in sight. After hours of walking through the beautiful and extensive grounds of the former golf course, we found a little patch of beautiful wild purple grass which we felt would more than make up for the lack of golden bales! We had such fun at this wedding – thank you for having us Claire and Kevin!! x Rathsallagh house wedding
